Subliminals add audio affirmations in the video, the audio is turned down so low with the intention that you don’t hear the words being said but it isn’t muted. The idea behind it is that your subconscious is powerful and that it can pick up on the quieted affirmations. Essentially it’s an affirmation belief but with a subconscious aspect. So no, it’s not really just fun music or white noise with a visual. But then again the information isn’t really just given in those videos and a random person looking out of curiosity is going to be understandably confused. I just wanted to explain them since I use subliminals occasionally and have known about them for 5+ years. Not of the rcta kind, I don’t think you can come from a mentally sound place to engage with those subliminals. There’s a level of self hatred and low self esteem that comes from that. But things like improving mental health, getting clearer skin, improving grades, etc. are pretty harmless, it’s just a matter of whether you believe in it or not, but there’s no harm in engaging with more standard subliminals if it’s what you want. Also, imo there are far freakier subliminal communities to worry about than rcta. Underground subliminals are subliminals that are controversial in the majority of the community (not including rcta although those are controversial as well but not for the same reasons) and heavily discouraged because there’s some level of harm that comes from them. A good lot of them are mental disorder ones, they encourage developing severe problems such as eating disorders, depressive disorders, ocd, etc. The worst of them are things like “get groomed by men”, “get abused”, or just ones that seek to gain results that’ll severely worsen your life. You can see it in the comments and people who engage with those kinds, majority of them are mentally unwell and seem to seek that stuff out as self harm or out of desperation. But it’s hard to find a video covering those cause they’re wayyyy more hidden than rcta or other more mainstream controversial subliminals. It’s all food for thought. I just wanted to explain what subliminals actually are cause people don’t really get them, and to talk about other things that I wished got talked about more with subliminals.

I love my single life. I only have to clean up my own mess. If I had had children, I would have gone to a sperm donor. This stuff is insane, but frankly I’ve seen from both genders in a relationship. It’s not a guy problem, it’s a parents not raising kids problem. Now everyone is either incompetent or entitled. While nearly all of these are examples of incompetence or weaponized incompetence, that last example is not. I can’t speak for this guys situation, but this is a problem I had in my relationship and thankfully resolved. It also has nothing to do with groceries alone, it has to do with expectation and respect. If I call my partner, I expect them to pick up or respond to my query by text in a timely manner, and the same applies equally to me. Why? Because sometimes the purchase isn’t a $3 can of pumpkin, sometimes it’s about your child or a life or death situation. Imagine, crash your car, no cell service but you got internet (it happens) so you internet call your spouse with a voice assistant and you get a response like, can’t talk now. Yeah in this situation you’re probably calling someone else, but as the spouse how you going to feel that you rejected the call of your partner who could be dying. It sucks you have to go to these extremes for people to click in, but relationships go both ways. Communicate, that’s the only way to resolve incompetence, weaponized or otherwise.
